The Bridges of Madison County

The Aurora Theater is now running a spectacular performance of “The Bridges of Madison County”.

A timeless love story based on the best-selling novel by Robert James Waller, The Bridges of Madison County will sweep Atlanta audiences off of their feet during its run at Aurora Theatre, March 9 – April 16! The two-time Tony Award-winning musical captures the story of a lonely Iowa farmer’s wife Francesca and her unexpected, four-day love affair with a traveling photographer Robert. Will the passionate romance fuel Francesca to leave her family and to continue along the fiery, amorous path with her newfound love? This romantic getaway of a lifetime is directed by Justin Anderson and stars Travis Smith (Robert Kincaid), Kristin Markiton (Francesca Johnson), Matt Lewis (Richard “Bud” Johnson), Rhyn McLemore Saver (Marian), Rob Cleveland (Charlie), Valerie Payton (Marge), Benjamin Davis (Michael) and Hannah Church (Carolyn).

I had the pleasure of attending this show and it was “Phenomenal”.  Travis Smith (Robert) and Kristin Markiton (Francesca) left you wanting more.  The entire crew did a great job.  You really get swept into the story as if you were a character yourself.

If you have not planned on adding this show to your performance you will regret it.  It was absolutely breathtaking.
