If you follow DWA MacKid on Facebook I sure you saw our post about the “Ellis Well Moms” contest. Well this week I had the privilege to tour the Ellis Hotel and all I can say is “Oh My”.
As you enter the front doors into the beautiful front lobby you are greeted by a friendly and helpful staff and decor that is just simply elegant, stylish and chic.
The Ellis Hotel is a historic Peachtree Street landmark with a legendary past and an impeccable tradition for guest service. It is downtown Atlanta’s only independant hotel. Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Atlanta and close to all the main sites, attractions and restaurants that downtown has to offer, they have 127 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, a complimentary fitness center and a business center available 24 hours a day.

Women’s Only Floor
This floor has private elevator Access, gift bags of L’Occitane products, take home slippers, loofah shower gel, use of flat and curling irons and use of a comfy robe. Everything you need when sneaking away for a “Just Me” weekend.

Hepa 3 Air Filter running 24/7 for a dander free, dust mite free and allergen free environment. They have coined the phrase “Fresh ar in downtown”!
Wellness Room

Each floor is carries the chic style from the lobby. Walls are donned with beautiful artwork and floral arrangements. The location of the Ellis Hotel offers beautiful views from your room, the Atlanta skyline…. Who could ask for anything more.
Did I mention they have a “Cube” in each room. I think I need to arrange a staycation so I can enjoy a Wellness Room.
Once you get settled into your room you don’t have to go far for a great meal. Yes…. they boast a Bistro Dining experience. Enjoy market fresh, farm-to-table cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner at their new Terrace Bistro Restaurant. You can enjoy your meal right on the famed Peachtree Street if you choose. I enjoyed lunch on the patio on a rainy day and enjoyed the ambiance as well as the service of the staff. Had it been a sunny day I would probably have been so excited I would have distracted the passersby on the street and invited all to lunch.
The Terrace Bistro Restaurant specializes in delicious American Southern Bistro-Style entrees. Did I say delicious…”Oh My”! You have four options for breakfast at the Ellis… room service, buffet, a la carte and grab ‘n’ go. You can enjoy In-Room Dining from 6:30am to 11:00pm.
They also have a “Wine Down” for registered guests from 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm where they offer $1 glasses of wine…”Oh My”. The Lobby Bar & Lounge offers a light menu and cocktail service.
If you are seeking a venue to hold an event… they can handle that too. I must say the newly-renovated Ellis Hotel leaves you wanting for absolutely nothing. Their claim of being “The Only Independent Boutique Hotel in Downtown Atlanta” is being very modest. In everyday MacKid language….”They ROCK!!!”
