We are CONFIRMED!!
If you have been following our homeschooling transitional journey, you know we have been patiently waiting for June 1st for that magical email that let’s us know we are all set. Well it arrived this morning at 8:05. I have confirmed all my kiddos information and we are all set for 2017-2018 school season.
Not only are we in ut on June 5 we get access to “Summer Connections”, a FREE summer learning and activities program along with field trips to meet other homeschoolers in the area. My kiddos and I are so excited with all that Summer Connections offers.

Enjoy our clubs and activities with fun LiveLesson® sessions led by teachers.
Connect with students at other Connections Academy®–supported schools.
Practice using the same online learning system that is used during the school year.
Keep student minds active to prevent summer “brain drain.”
School starts on August 7 and we should receive all our supplies, books, home projects and goodies mid July.
I am relieved that the enrollment process is complete as it makes it all final. The decision to homeschool was not an easy one but if you do your research and find a program that works for your family situation it can very rewarding for you and your kiddos.
I really cannot believe how excited they are to be homeschooled. I figured my largest obstacle was going to be getting them on board…..NOT! They are ready to remodel my old office into their new classroom. I decided to have a totally separate space for school work and leave bedrooms and common areas for fun and relaxing only.
The next step for us is to research a few homeschool co-ops to join so we can meet other homeschool families. We are attending the Southeast Homeschool Expo in July.
