Downtown-West Atlanta Macaroni Kid had the pleasure of hosting a Cars 3 party.  If you follow DWA MacKid you already know I am a CARS fan VROOOOOMMMM and this game did not disappoint and Mommy was victorious again.

Cars 3: Driven to Win continues where the new Cars 3 movie leaves off and allows you  take action packed adventures and high speed competitive races.  There are are several racing modes from Easy for the newer drivers like my daughter to the Expert like myself and sometimes my son.

You are able to customize your car with under lights, horn sound and color of the fire that shoots out your exhaust.  There are over 20 different tracks to choose from and as you complete one race you unlock another.

There are several features to the game that takes Cars 3 to the next level of fun.  The Stunt Showcase where we can catch air and perform tricks and stunts is my favorite.  Most of my tricks were totally accidental and I got used to the game but kept me with the high score always (let this be our secret).  The Battle Race is the one on one that I challenged everyone to.  If you follow the training properly and learn it all you will always be victorious.

I love the fact that you can play with up to three friends or just go one on one with the game itself.

My crew played on two different systems the XBOX ONE and PS4 to compare the graphics and they both get a thumbs up!!  I like the skilled based progression which allows you to learn a variety of skills at your pace and then you use them deeper in the game to earn rewards.  I must admit on my first race I earned the “Wreckless Driver” award, but I still rocked 1st place.

When racing with a friend you have the split-screen co-op that just shows you and your competitor together.

We missed some of the characters from the Cars 2 but were easily taken to the new characters.  My all time favorite will always be Mater. I must say I enjoyed the movie and MOST DEFINITELY enjoyed the game.

We would like to thank all the Georgia United Showtime 2023 Basketball team (including my son) for helping DWA MacKid review Cars 3 Driven to Win and having such a fun afternoon.

Disclosure:  Macaroni Kid Downtown-West Atlanta  was compensated by WB Games in exchange for this review.  However, these are our honest opinions.
